1. Could Zakat be given to fund dawah activities including funding for Qur'an translations to be distributed to non Muslims?
In addition to charitable donations (sadaqah) we are also able to accept zakat for outreach (dawah) activities as it is considered effort in the path of Allah. This has been confirmed by scholars including Shaykh Dr Mohammed Akram Nadwi.
